How does interior detailing differ from a standard car wash?
Our interior detailing service focuses on deep cleaning and restoring the inside of your vehicle, addressing aspects like stains, salt, sand, faded plastics, dry leather, pet hair and more providing a comprehensive cleaning beyond a typical 15min car wash.
Can you remove pet hair and odor?
Yes, we have a specialized pet hair removal service to effectively remove pet hair, stains, and odors from your vehicle, leaving your car's interior looking and smelling fresh.
What products do you use for cleaning and conditioning the interior surfaces?
At Elixir Auto Detailing we believe in transparency, as we know customers want to be certain that their car is in safe hands and even more importantly the products we use are not harmful to them. For the interior we use Koch Chemie Pol Star a pH neutral interior cleaner, P&S True Vue an amazing ammonia-free glass cleaner, Triple Threat by Cosway Supply to clean carpeting and upholstery, Koch Chemie Leather Star to condition leather and Koch Chemie Top Star for Plastics and rubber. Occasionally, we use specialized cleaners in small amounts for tough stains, gum, sticker residue, etc...
How long does it take to complete an interior detailing session?
The duration varies based on the size of the vehicle, the condition of the interior and desired service. On average, our interior detailing sessions range from 1.5 to 3 hours, providing a comprehensive and efficient service.
Do you offer any protection for the interior surfaces, such as fabric or leather?
Yes, our interior detailing services include UV protection for plastics and abrasion and UV resistance for leather. Also, we have specialized services to protect fabric and carpeting against stains, spills and UV damage. You can upgrade to a ceramic coating protection service for greater durability and greater protection properties.
